New Wool, Featured Artists, & Bison Yarn!
Hello from Montana Sweater Co.,
We have knitted our way through our first winter with great results! Customers from our neighborhood in Bozeman, and as far away as Sweden have ordered with us. The FingerFree Mitts were a hit and kept us busy when we weren't knitting sweaters.
A few announcements:
We just took on 13 Mile Lamb & Wool's sweater division. This is a wonderful cooperative effort between our mill/wool supplier and ourselves. They grow the wool, turn it into yarn, and Montana Sweater Co. knits it. Currently we are doing the two step getting sweater patterns, photos of sweaters, and yarn inventory updated. You can look forward to more 100% Montana raised wool from the Gallatin Valley!
A major addition to our site is the new Featured Artists area. There are amazing artists who quietly work their magic in studios throughout Montana, and we decided you should know about them. Beginning with fiber artist, Mary Bartlo, we are delighted to be offering her 100% silk, hand woven, hand painted scarves. The pieces offered are exclusive to our site and unavailable anywhere else.
Several customers have asked if we will offer THe Bison Ranch yarn for sale. The answer is Yes! The Bison Ranch yarn will be available in April. We are still shearing what is left of the winter down. Processing for 2008 yarn begins shortly thereafter.
Montana Sweater Co. is always coming up with something new, so we invite you to check in often!
Warmest Regards,
