Looking at these scarves even I find it hard to believe that they start out as single plain white threads. After a few hours of very precise manipulation preparing the warp, I am ready for the fun to begin on the dyeing table. Silk loves to take color, and I love to paint it on. Using my fingers or a foam paint brush, I try to achieve the thousand mixing ways nature has with color.
Silk is a sensuous fiber with a drape and a sheen that enhances any outfit. These scarves are an all season weight. Surprisingly, they add that little bit of comfort to the neck under a jacket or over a tank top no matter what the natural temperature or the air conditioned flow.
